 The Red River Story

Erina Reddan had worked for four different media training companies across Australia when she realised that the main game in media training was focused on teaching people how to survive the challenge of a media interview, anticipating and answering tricky questions.

A large piece of the puzzle was missing – persuasive communication - taking your audience on a journey and convincing them to come with you. So, she took the plunge and went on a sabbatical to do a whole lot of thinking and research to develop the Red River communication story-telling model and founded Red River Strategic Communication. Red River became known for its high level issues management and then expanded into Strategy, Advisory and Leadership Communication.

She was joined by Victor Del Rio, who was the first researcher in Australia to identify the most successful strategies in a crisis in this country.  Meaning we no longer had to rely on case studies from the USA. Victor expanded Red River into Crisis Communication and Management and now Risk and Compliance.  Victor developed a unique crisis evaluation methodology and benchmarks to assess the crisis strategies effectiveness.  This is a strategic tool to avoid costly reputational and financial mistakes.
