OUR STORY

With a Walkley Award on Erina Reddan’s shelf and years as an ABC foreign correspondent under her belt, she was invited to join a media training company to use her expertise to help others navigate the challenging waters of a media interview.

By 2005, she’d worked for four different media training companies across Australia, where good work was done.

But she realised that the main game in media training was focused on teaching people how to survive the challenge of a media interview, anticipating and answering tricky questions.

A large piece of the puzzle was missing – taking your audience on a journey and persuading them to come with you.

So, she took the plunge and went on a sabbatical to do a whole lot of thinking ad research to develop the Red River communication story telling model and founded Red River Strategic Communication.

After completing his PhD in Communication and Crisis Management,  Foreign Correspondent Victor Del Rio complemented Red River strategic communication offerings by developing training techniques and systematic advice for organisations either aiming at managing a crisis, or preventing one or trying to recovering as fast as possible from a previous crisis event.
